The Friends Association

The current Association of the Friends was formed in January 2019 and is made up of a group of parents and carers who give up their time to support events in school. We are now looking at ways of working for the school, parents and community to raise funds which enhance school life 

Our aim is to organise fun events throughout the year, whilst at the same time raising money which enables the association to provide extra equipment and opportunities for the school and children.

The type of events that have been held in the past by previous "Friends" include Discos, Beetle Drives, Quiz Nights, Treasure Hunts, Film Nights, and of course the Christmas and Summer Fayres.

This year our main event will be supporting the school in its Jubilee celebrations in July.

We also support the parish once a month by running the tea and coffee morning after both the 8.30 and 10.30 Sunday Mass. 

To date, the money raised has been utilised on various aspects of school life including contributing to a building extension, school trips, Christmas trees and lights (and Christmas Festivities).

Our Lady and St Peter's may be a relatively small school but it has a big heart !
